The aim of DREAM is to improve the quality and efficiency of care and to stimulate clinical research. The results of this research are used to improve our knowledge and skills and to develop and implement treatment protocols.

For instance, the data collected in the DREAM-RA registry have resulted in a large number of publications in scientific journals. According to a review by Synergus in 2017, the publications from the DREAM-RA registry ranked fourth among European countries with respect to scientific impact.

Below you can find some documents with more information about research in the different registries, such as study protocols from several specific treatment strategies or (pragmatic) trials supported by DREAM and an article about the development of SpA-Net.
